BEAUTY BUYS ON A BUDGET

There’s a wide range of products available here, from makeup to skincare, body to hair care – Price Wise has it all. Essence is an extremely affordable brand that is constantly updating their ranges to bring you the newest trends. I love their nail polishes which are only $3.95 at Price Wise. I have also bought several eyeshadow quads from Essence and been very happy with the formula, and so much cheaper than many other brands.

Batiste Dry Shampoo is $9.99 at Price Wise, whereas elsewhere they are $11.99 or more! I go through so many cans of this, so it was great to stock up at a lower price. Dry Shampoo is fantastic for extending the days between washes while keeping your hair looking (and smelling) fresh. They even offer tinted versions which are perfect for brunettes such as myself, these are $11.99 vs $13.99 elsewhere.

LynnMall Pharmacy has a wide range of beauty products, but what caught my eye was the LA Girl products that they stock. I love LA Girl because they do all the essentials as well as cool new innovations. I tested out the LA Girl Lipify Stylo lipsticks, retailing for $11.50. This is excellent value for a lovely creamy lipstick. Also in store are the Ultimate Auto Eyeliner Pencils which are only $7. They’re a retractable twist up formula, so no need to sharpen. Pencil is my go-to option as it’s much easier to apply than liquid or gel eyeliners.

Alongside clothes, Postie+ sells a variety of affordable beauty products. I like to go there for miniature sized things to take with me when I travel – you can stock up on deodorant, shampoo, and body lotion. There’s also OPI nail polishes, Maybelline makeup, and perfumes. Beauty Formulas has a good selection of both charcoal and clay face masks and hydrating sheet masks that are only $2, and individual hair treatments for $2. There are facial scrubs from $5. In addition to cosmetics there are cosmetic tools such as nail buffers for $5 and eyelash curlers for $8. Postie+ also stock other essentials such as cotton balls and makeup removal pads. Why pay a premium when you can get good value for much less?!
